OUR STORY
Back in 1946, in Matão, when progress was crawling through the interior of the State of São Paulo, two brothers of simple origin, descendants of Italian immigrants, foreseeing the future of country would be agriculture, given the vocation of its people and the immensity of fertile land distributed throughout the national territory, they decided to dedicate themselves to the manufacture of agricultural implements and machines, initially the simplest, with animal traction, carts and carriages.
The city of Matão, in 1946, had no idea what was about to happen when a small workshop began operating, the Oficina Brasil. The accumulated experience led directly to the manufacture of mechanical traction implements. With a rare business vision, a lot of tenacity and the need to adapt to the growing demand in an increasingly competitive market, they had no doubts in expanding the industry, then renamed Irmãos Marchesan Ltda, and later, Marchesan lmplementos e Máquinas Agrícolas “TATU” SA

From simple manufacturers of vehicles and animal-drawn implements, the Marchesan brothers started to produce discs for harrows and plows, and later on extremely modern implements and agricultural machines, to be mechanically pulled. Over the last few decades, Brazilian agriculture has undergone major transformations, cultures that were previously little explored came to have great importance for the country. Immense areas of our territory, previously occupied by coffee or livestock, gave way to sugarcane, soybeans or oranges, and new agricultural frontiers were emerging.
The small workshop grew. And today the city of Matão is home to one of the largest companies in the sector in Latin America. What no one could imagine in 1946 has turned into an unquestionable truth.
With a highly specialized body of employees, Marchesan SA had no difficulties in generating machines and implements to meet the expanding and increasingly demanding market, with highly efficient and durable products. of the largest and most modern factories of Agricultural Machinery and Implements in Latin America, which in addition to serving the domestic market, exports to more than 70 countries around the world, is installed in an area of 805,000 m², of which 220,000 m² of covered area. Thanks to the excellence of its machines and implements, the result of the high technology used in its manufacture, rigorous quality control and a state-of-the-art industrial park, it holds, since July 1996, the ISO 9001: certificate: 2015, issued by BUREAU VERITAS QUALITY INTERNATIONAL, standing out in the strictest international quality standards for manufacturing, sales and technical assistance of agricultural machinery and implements. Installed in a built area of220,000 m², Marchesan SA is the largest company in the agricultural machinery and implement sector in Latin America. My strength came from the hands of two brothers, Armando, an excellent carpenter, and Luiz, a super blacksmith, who got together and started the first stage of my life, the Oficina Brasil Irmãos Marchesan.
